Popsi Armchair
EnquireDescription
Combination of function and materials.
Designed by Ferruccio Laviani, the Popsi lounge chair combines bold design with sophisticated materials, specifically metal and hide. The base features delicately criss-crossed rods which follow a complex design to produce a sleek metal web.
From the four corners of the feet, groups of two or three rods spring upwards, turning multiple acute angles before joining up with the four corners of the shell of the large tub chair, which is covered with hide. The curved lines are emphasised by precise decorative stitching, which speaks about Lema’s sartorial approach.
